The kitchen staff starts and ends the day solo, with up to 4 people sharing the kitchen through the peak of the day. We are currently open from 7:30 am until 5 pm, and it’s typically busy the whole time! You'll generally be scheduled 7/8 hour shifts, which start as early as 6 am and end as late as 6 pm. The extensive menu ranges from light and healthy to decadent and comforting. The espresso is house-roasted, the juice cold-pressed in the house, and almost everything that comes out of the kitchen is made from scratch. What started almost 8 years ago as a dark, sleepy little coffee spot has grown over time into a bright and bustling sit-down restaurant filled with plants, local art, and a rose gold disco ball! We serve a beautiful community of regulars as well as a constantly rotating clientele of new vegans and visitors to Portland. We had the Hollywood scramble, pesto scramble, a brownie and a fancy coffee drink. What more could you ask for in a neighborhood coffee shop? The staff went above and beyond in customer service, and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. IMO, on my visit to the Portland area, taking all aspects into consideration, this was probably best dinner I had. * a "just right" selection of vegan/veggie food on the menu The greens on the side with the mint dressing were yummy! Service is great too. The deli sandwich was a tad too bland, but well made nevertheless. The wraps are amazing (try the falafel), and so are the beverages. Coffee latte was yummy with hemp milk, A+! Good selection of vegan baked goods. Also had falafel waffle, much better, very moist and yummy. I had jalapeno waffles, are savory and basically cream cheese and fresh jalapenos with avocado. Pretty good waffles, definitely worth buying than making bc its almond flour. And, it seems to be the case every time I am here. The coffee is decent, but I cant stand the fact the staff starts closing the place up more than an hour before closing. The vegan selection is amazing, ban mi and whisky bbq tempeh wrap and booz!! mimosas and beer. There seems to be parking right out front.

Cozy interior, free wifi (ask for the password), cushy soft chairs. Really tasty coffee, none of that watered down crap. This pace rocks! The coffee will get your heart rate up to at least 180bpm guaranteed (in a good way).
